CDBA Ontario Chapter is developing a new strategic plan that will chart our course into the future and we are asking stakeholders for their valuable input to help shape our direction and define priorities and goals.

As a first step, we are launching three online surveys where individuals will have an opportunity to provide their thoughts.

Please choose the appropriate survey and follow the link:

Families of adults and children who are deafblind

External stakeholders

Employees of CDBA Ontario

As a follow-up to the surveys, we will be holding face-to-face focus group meetings to gather additional information. Parents of adults and children who are deafblind and consumers are invited to participate in an upcoming Strategic Planning Forum, tentatively scheduled for Friday, February 23 or Saturday, February 24 at the CDBA Ontario Resource Centre in Paris.

We ask candidates for the Strategic Planning Forum to RSVP to chief executive officer Cathy Proll at or 519-442-0463, ext. 124 or toll-free 1-877-760-7439, ext. 124. CDBA Ontario can assist with travel and accommodations for parents and consumers travelling from out of town. Please bring your ideas and questions, engage in the discussions, and ensure that your voice is heard as we discuss priorities.

CDBA Ontario has engaged Paula MacLean of MacLean Management Consulting Services Ltd., a recognized leader in working with non-profit organizations, to help with the creation of a new strategic plan.

We very much look forward to working with everyone during the strategic planning process.
